Soul Blade (Calibur) vs Tekken

going through a trip down memory lane with Metacritic.com.

Tekken3 got a lot better reviews than Soul Blade.

no way in my opinion.

I love the Soul Calibur series, but Soul Blade, from the intro (best ever for any game imo) to the minor RPG single player to playing with your friends.

just amazing

Being able to break your buddies weapon cause he's a little defensive ***** is the best feeling in the world, I wish the Caliburs had it.

And then the weapons you could choose! On some matches i could get lucky and one hit kill my buddy with Rocks heaviest axe. (up,up, triangle)

First SCalibur on the dreamcast took away MANY nghts in the dorm. a ringout = finish your drink.

With a name like Squall and a fanboy thread start, you don't also wear a wizard hat, do you?

I've played both quite a bit, and honestly don't prefer one or the other. I will say that the characters in Tekken are more varied, and Tekken Tag is my all-time favorite fighting game.
