Sooners land 2 kids

Adam Shead -- 4-star OG from Cedar Hill. It looks like LSU fans are bummed on this one. Doesn't hold an offer from them, but their fans felt confident he would be offered.

Sheldon McClain -- 3-star WR from Cibolo. He goes to the same school as 2011 star Malcolm Brown. This kid is much better than his ranking IMO.

Shead is a solid 4 star prospect. McClain is #100 on the LSR 100. OU still only has 1 kid in the Rivals 100 I believe.

The OU class right now does not have any stars in it. Blake Bell is certainly interesting due to his size. We'll know more about him in 3 years. OU seems to really go after big fat OL. 2 of your 3 right now are listed at 322 and 315, with 6-4 frames.

We're in on a lot of Rivals100 kids, even if we've only locked down 1 kid.

Our class is going to be good. I'm not too concerned in early May, especially with what we already have on-board.

Tech fans are bummed that he committed to OU. He was waiting for an offer and I think was about the commit to Tech and then OU swooped in and took him. He will be a good guard in the Big 12.

Yeah, but he has dead dogs looking in on game days. That is pressure.

No doubt OU will get more higher profile kids but I happen to like where UT is at this time with all of this. Leave OU, LSU, Tech, Baylor and other teams steal from the lesser programs like aggy while we watch from the wings.
