Sony DVD question

I have a Sony DVD/Surround sound system, it's about two years old. It has a five DVD turntable.

Earlier this week, the DVD stopped working. It sounds as though it's trying to load over and over again. After a few minutes, if there's only one DVD in the player, it starts switching trays and then will display a "no disc" message.

I bough a new HDTV and hooked it up last week. The DVD player worked the first couple of nights but hasn't worked since...anyone know what the problem could be?

Sounds as though the DVD player just may be a little off. Some times if you use some canned air and spray into the tray if there is dust or something in the way it will clear it. Otherwise take a look at taking it to pyramid audio and have them check it out. If it is just a DVD player you can get a new sony progressive scan for around 120.00
