Sonic Slam Inning

I feel sorry for whoever was the poor schlub whose name was drawn last night.

David Murphy hits a 3-run homer in the 5th inning, and then Michael Young hits a grand slam in the 7th.

Of course, the Sonic Slam Inning is the 6t. I bet that poor person was mad mad mad! Like this:

He would have won some serious coin if the GS had been an inning earlier.

I am glad the bats woke up, too, but I also know how I'd feel if my name were drawn and then someone hit a GS one inning too late. It would make me fall down and cry -- it's like seeing $25,000 just fly out the window!

TA, you obviously have a gambler's mentality. Only type of person that would realize that. Of course, watching the Sonic commercial for the footlong chili cheese hotdog makes me think we should all be paid $25 grand to endure that.
