Can't say I have a favorite song as there are too many I love. But this tune is one that I can't play just once, and I continue to hit repeat. Enjoy.

love it. love "tear stained eye" better. I sandbagged in my hometown during the '93 flood, so it hits close to home.

Until recently, I would have answered with "Tear-Stained Eye," too.

However, after seeing them live last year, I have to go with "Circadian Rhythm" as my favorite SV track. It's otherwordly, both on the CD and live.

I really like "Mystifies Me". It's the last song on Trace. Very overlooked song.

I'm a pretty big SV fan, and Tear Stained Eye is one of my favorite songs of all time by any artist.

I still remember hearing it for the first time. As soon as it was over, I drove STRAIGHT to Waterloo records and bought the CD.

Only time I have ever done that.

The new album, while not as good as Trace, has some very good moments on it.

Yes. It was a Ron Wood song, I believe.

Best song on that album is 'Catching On'.

That is their best album, IMO.

I am originally from STL, and went to Uncle Tupelo shows back when......one of the saddest days in music history is when that band broke up. Son Volt and Wilco are good but they don't match the quality of stuff that Jay and Jeff did when they were together.
