Somewhat interesting thread on Texags.com

Sounds like another aggy "moral victory" comment to me.

I think a great Aggie tradition is inventing stories about Longhorns. In two years, this elevator ride will become a story where the Longhorn players were throwing urine on a veteran of the Normandy invasion while a brave Aggie stepped up and slapped them into submission.

Come to think of it, I wonder if the Texas player remarks were actually along the lines of "If we'd played like the Aggies today..." Which is really more of a comment about the standard at Texas versus that at College Station where they are forced to scour the earth for silly moral victories about the volume of noise at their stadium or the lies that they never boo or cheat.

I think the only thing truth on the TexAg post was that the author rode on the elevator with them, they still had on uniforms and they were carrying box lunches. The rest is made up BS designed to make the author and the Aggie readers feel better.

Aggies do have a bit of trouble with reality . . .

One who sat next to me on Sunday at Olsen said in about the 5th inning, "We CAN'T be THIS bad."

I didn't say anything to her, but just assumed, like many Aggies I've known, she wasn't terribly in touch with reality.

The reality: they ARE that bad.

The original poster, ObjectiveTexasGuy, has 4300 posts on texags. Not sure he is a Texas fan.

I can't imagine a UT athlete and an assistant coach being that candid in a public setting to anyone.

NebLHAB,

Along those lines, Mack told me tonight that next year will be his last year and DeLoss told me that he'll retire after next year as well.

It was on an elevator ride up to the 28th floor in Belmont . . .
