One of my good navy friends(Texas fan) has an extra ticket to the RRW. But My H.S. reunion falls on that Friday I know if I go to the reunion No way I'll be able to get up Saturday morning and drive to Dallas(I'll be in Tulsa) I wanna see my friends again but I've never had a chance to go to the RRW. This is a tough one. :brickwall

There's a reason why Texas and Oklahoma play every year, and there's a reason why High School Reunions only happen every ten years.

GO TO THE GAME.

what reunion is this? and do you really want to see all your "friends"? if they're friends, you can see them any other weekend of the year.

any good Texas fan would not need advice...screw high school....college is always better

Drive to Dallas late Friday night after the reunion...or at least drive halfway and get up early.

Besides, they sell plenty of meth in Oklahoma. Staying up shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks guys, Problem is Kmac it's my 10 year reunion H.S. I'm stationed in Key West and have been in the Navy for about 7 years. So I cant see them every weekend.I do get the point though,And I do see my "Friends" when I come in to town twice a year. Lol I cant take advantage of the Meth labs because I will get tested when I get back .Yeah I the game is sounding better.

Man up and get up early and drive. Just don't stay up too late if you go to the reunion, or, if you do, suffer from the loss of sleep and go to the game regardless. Or skip the reunion altogether.

Skipping the game should not even be an option.

soflasooner,

first of all, congrats on your role in the service and i speak for everyone here who applauds your effort to serve our country. second, we would all love the chance to root against you in person so get your *** to the game.

if you haven't ever been, it's my favorite event of the year win or lose and i'm something like 3-5 in my experiences.

if you went to HS in oklahoma and your HS was ******* stupid enough to schedule the reunion that weekend then they obviously don't really want anyone to come or your valedictorian is a huge douchebag.

Whatever you do: drink, drive, drink, no sleep, go to the game.

You'll be like everyone else at the game.

p.s.: You should definitely go the Reunion since you'll be able to Key West Scoreboard everyone of those yokels.

If you're not tagging anything by 10pm, cut your losses and drive to Dallas that night. That way you'll avoid all the rusted El Caminos and Torinos that'll stuff 35 that morning heading South.

Seriously, I would do both. I can understand wanting to see old friends, just don't stay there all night.

Besides, there will be thousands of people at the game who got little to no sleep the night before.

Lol to all of you wondering Who would schedule that the same weekend as an The RRW I went to a majority OSWHO school. Most of the faculty, students, and Alumni went to OSU....Maybe that explains the scheduling. I think I am gonna go to the reunion Friday night and drive to Dallas afterwards and beat the elcamino traffic lol.

How in the hell have you been in the military for 7 years and not have plenty of skill/experience operating while sleep deprived?

"I'm stationed in Key West and have been in the Navy for about 7 years. So I cant see them every weekend.I do get the point though"

If you are stationed in Key West, your friends should be coming down to visit you. Do your best to do both.

It is kind of annoying the game is at 11, because now it's pretty much going to be impossible to get up early enough to skip the traffic without pulling an all-nighter.

Here's an idea: attend your reunion, and give me your Texas/OU tickets.

Seriously, go to Texas/OU. You won't regret it. You can always attend your 15 year reunion in a few years, right?

BTW, a big thank you for your service to our country.

Start by going to your reunion. If you can't find one of your old classmates who still looks good enough to bank within 10 minutes of your arrival, leave and start driving to Dallas.

Lol well I dont have the tickets..one of your fellow horns has them ....And thanks for the kind words.

The OU/Texas game is the one event I know I will attend every year, no matter what, 'til I die. Hell even then I may pull an aggy and see if I can be buried outside the stadium with my own monitor and scoreboard

Personally I wouldn't even consider the reunion if it would jeopardize my attending the game. I missed the birth of one my children to attend the game a number of years ago.

Do what you want and never regret.
