If by video board you mean a new scoreboard - Yes. It's not as big as the baseball board, but you can easily see it from the stands. In addition to the scoring, there's a video feed of selected plays. Otherwise, batter stats are shown. One of the Florida State batters christened it by bouncing a home run off of it on Saturday.
Even better than the scoreboard, is that the benches we fans sit on now has a back - nice for us "old folks".
What the field doesn't have is decent grass in the outfield. It looks like UT took water conservation to heart - lots of dead areas
i will try to find out about the field. i was supposed to go help out with the tourney this weekend, but working 40 hours and 15 hours of class doesn't leave much time on the weekends. i saw the benches during the fall games. apparently they went for the most backing allowed because you have to have a certain amount of room to walk down the row. if i find out something about the field i will post it. i do know that tourneys can wreak havoc on a field...even short tournaments. was it like this before the games even started? also...although i think this problem is repaired....some idiot changed his oil outside of left field one year and dumped the old oil over the fence and for a while there was a dead spot out there.
