Man...if CAT would have had half the run support that Blaire is getting....We would have been National Champions three times in a row!!!!!! I have no doubt in that.

Here't to them winning the Big 12....the tournament and the NCAA!!!!

Texas defeated Iowa State today 10-2 in five innings. This win guarantees a tie in the big 12 conference. A win at Baylor on Thursday gives the Longhorns the title outright.

Cuernos is right. If we had this much run support CAT would have got that NC but we wasted that opportunity and didn't get the batters we needed. And this despite the fact we had an extra year to get some when she was in the Olympics. The shame of it was that other pitchers who weren't worthy to be on the same field as her won NCs because they had the batters. We must not waste this chance with Luna and keep getting batters to support her.
 
I'm not sure why we are talking about batting support for Cat...saying we would have won a NC with better hitting seems pointless. You might as well say we would have won a NC in basketball if Durant had stuck around, or won more titles in Track had Sanya, Marshavet and Bianca not turned pro and left early. We had who we had and should be proud of the success of those years, including the conference and tourney crowns, and NCAA championship appearances. Sure it would have been great to win a NC, just as it would have been in FB or VB this season, but it was still a great era in Texas softball...and I'm sure Cat would be the first to give credit to the entire team for the squad's success. Anyway, she has been gone for four years so I would much rather focus on the present. How great is it that a squad tipped to finish 5th in the conference race has ended up as Big12 champions. The team and coaches have done a great job this year and let's hope their success continues in the years ahead.
 
I agree....but you still wonder what would have been.

We know what happened in Football.....it was unfortunate.

Volleyball again did great, but that one was hard to swallow as they were up 2 games on PSU.....but things like that happen.

We'll be back....

I am not sure what to think about our track teams they are decent, but I am not sure how we are going to overtake A&M with Pat at the helm.

Pat is to track recruiting like Mack is to Football. He is excellent at bringing in really good people.
 
Just got a phone call from the folks who are at the game that the ladies won up at bible aggy tonight and have officially won the Big12 Conference outright!
