You are right that it was a tie last year world but the team that won it out the last time retains the cup in case of a tie. That is why last year the Aggies retained the cup and would h ave this year if it had ended in a tie.

I once suggested to State Farm in case of a tie they shouold award it to whoever wins the football game. In other words in case of a tie the winner of the football game gets 1/4 of an added point to win it out right but this is only in case it ends in a 9,5 to 9.5 when it is over. This would be better I thought because the most popular sport would determine the tie breaker plus as it is there are 10 points for Women's sports and only 9 points for the men. Needless to say they didn't respond.
