and i'm actively looking into the possibility of faking my death and moving to Beliz.

Had to spend thousands and thousands, and go to the Czech Republic, but its done now. Just gotta wait til march for the big payoff.

So I'm a little confused by the Czech comment, but your g/w/w is going to give birth to these babies? If so, you are in for a big surprise.

Ours turned two this summer, and I can tell you the last to years have been a big blur. The first one especially so.

Congrats! My twin girls are 17 months old. And I concur with the above poster that said life as you now know it is over.

The sleep deprivation the first few months was the worst, but just keep telling yourself, it will get easier, it will get easier.

If you're in the Austin area, tell your wife to check out the Austin Mom's of Multiple's web site. My wife loves it; says it's a good resource for advice, used clothes, toys, etc.

brother in law has twins, so we will inherit some of their twin **** like the double stroller and God knows what else that i am unaware of but will soon be essential.

i consider myself lucky, as a friend of mine has a brother who's wife recently had triplets when their first born was 18 months old. lucky (and unlucky) for him, he's a pilot and will be away alot.
 
the two of everything can cause some finacial heartburn for sure. Two car seats, 4 car bases, two cribs, two training pottys, two high chairs, etc.

If you have an questions, ask them here. I find parents with multiples are very supportive of each other and love to give advice and support.

I've got identical twin 9 year old boys. Cost me a fortune to buy the 2 season tickets next to my 2, but they are going to every game this year. Having twins is a blast. They play in a local soccer league, I swear they can predict each other's moves when they pass to each other.
 
My daughters turned 3 on 22-Sep-08. I have not had a good sleep in three years. My daughters seem to have an endless supply of energy and take delight in driving me crazy. I would not change a thing.
 
We have two boys 13 and 14. Decided to try for a girl .We have the c-section scheduled for oct. 20, two more boys!!! What was I thinking...
 
Our twin sons turned 18 this summer.

The first five years of their lives just might have been the happiest of my life. It was so cool for me and my boys to load up and go anywhere. When they were around four I had gone back to UNT to get my teachers certificate and I would drop the boys off at the school daycare. It was mighty nice to see all the lovely twenty something coeds fuss over them every step we took around campus.

Twins are three times the work but they are ten times the joy.

I hope you are as blessed as I was.
 
My boys arrived last Monday and are still in the nicu. They are doing good and we hope to get them home early this week. They were a little small 4.15 and 4.13, but otherwise healthy. Its been a long time since I had a little one and forgot how incredible it is.

I am sure feeding two babies every three hours (11pm, 2am, 5am, 8am..groan...) will come back to you as well!

I don't know how my wife and i ever got through it! Enjoy the ride.
 
congrats coop. i just read about a couple in the woodlands who just had quints - all just over 3 pounds. i could not imagine the level of terror i would be feeling now if i knew that 5 were on the way.
