I saw Blind Side this afternoon as part of our usual race to see as many nominees as possible before the award. Very solid work by Bullock. She deserved the nomination. I thought the girl in An Education may have been better and maybe Vera Farmiga was as well. The competition was close. Good for Sandra.

Sandra did a superb job in "The Blind Side." The others were close, but IMO, the Academy made the correct choice.

she knows who she is and was happy to win it. i think she basically said this would be her only chance to win it. she is well liked in hollywood and i think they gave it to her for all her work. she has made a lot of people a lot of money.

I'm in absolute love with her and I thought she was perfect for the role. I really enjoyed the emotional feel good story and to have her in it just really gave it an extra dimension for me.

We are going to see Hurt Locker tomorrow.
