So....you're suggesting we "star wars" the thing....breaking into multiple pieces sending it on an unpredictable trajectory back to earth...? Don't quit your day jobs guys.

Granted.....it will break up anyhow on reentry but at least we will have some idea of the impact areas to be effected.

As a kid, there was a house in my neighborhood where a big piece of the wooden stairs leading to the front porch was missing, a big hole. I asked the lady what happened, and a piece of an airplane had fallen off and gone through there.
