So I went to the Mavs game last night

Good thing the tickets were given to me, cause I wouldn't pay to watch that steaming pile. Howard has a decent game. But if he's the goto guy in the 4th quarter, go ahead and pack in this season and try for a high lottery pic. Dirk was a non-factor once Ilgaskas packed him hard early in the game. Dirk got to the line exactly once the whole night. He didn't even end up in double figures.

And the guard situation is laughable when JJ Berea has to play 20+ min. Mo Williams abused him. We have no shooting guard to speak of unless you want to count Jet who barely cares anymore. Kidd looks like Grandpa Moses out there.

Maybe the Cavs are just awesome. But with no 4th qtr scoring threat, we can't hang with anybody if they play even a little bit of D.

Spurs by 30 tonight.

This team sucks. Should have blown it up in the offseason when they had the chance. I would have traded everything not bolted to the floor. It's more than evident that they aren't going to win a title or really even challenge for the West.

So are the Spurs that bad without Manu? 98-81 Mavs tonight.

Terry busted out with 29 after starting his first game this season. Dirk had 30.

Mavs aren't done just yet. An 18 point thrashing of the (admittedly Manu-less) Spurs in San Antonio says otherwise.

Mavs are an interesting team this year -- any Mav fans thoughts on the team's direction this season or pieces they are missing?

I know that NuclearBear is a Mavs fan and he seems to have some pretty good insight on the team and NBA in general.

As a mavs fan, I am hoping against all hope that we somehow get starbury. yeah, it is that desperate.

While I have only seen 1 game this year, from what I know of our squad, we could really use someone who can get in the lane and dish or finish.

So, yeah, we are screwed.

The window has closed.

I'm sure they will win some games and fans will start hoping, but I think it was over two years ago.
