So I just graduated from college in December with a degree in finance. I have my first job interview tomorrow at Chase as a personal banker. Anyone have any advice or anything I should know before I go into the interview?

Poise, be yourself and commit to nothing. You've got a finance degree from the University of Texas (assuming) this won't be your only job offer. Good luck, the Eyes of Texas are with you.

Don't lie on your resume.

lucky bastard, I graduated in May and still haven't found ****. Makes sense though, business guys are the ones who **** up the economy and they're the ones who still have jobs.

It went pretty well. I am supposed to hear something back on it early next week. Hopefully it will be really good news.

I am just about finished with grad school (MA in Mathematics) at KU (to go with a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Mathematics from Texas). I had job offers all over the place here in the Kansas City area, but couldn't find much in Austin which is where I really wanted to move back to.

In other words, don't be scared to look elsewhere if a good job is what's really important right now. Austin was tough for me in my fields, but I had great luck elsewhere. Graduate in May, start work a week later. I'm still hoping to find something in Austin down the road.

Yah, but when Goddard did it people thought he was crazy and didn't care. You do it nowadays and people will think you're trying to shoot down planes or something.
