HONG KONG (AP) - The largest diamond ever auctioned off in Asia - a sparkling, 101.27 carat gem about the size of a pingpong ball - fetched more than $6.2 million at Christie's in Hong Kong.
Although I am a little surprised that a 100 carat diamond only brought 6 mil to the auction, I would have thought it would have been a 10 million dollar diamond based on the size alone.
