Sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere, but with the recent departure of Webber/ McGasky and the de-commitment of Dixon how many scholarships do we have available?

We are @ 89, (four over the limit), with the current roster and current offers for 2010. So the staff has rightly assumed that more kids will leave the team in the next year for various reasons. They will get one or two more commitments before February, and it will all work out.

If everyone qualifies this summer, the current team will have 83 schollies. Mack will use any extras to reward non-scholarship seniors, just as he has done every year.

We can add 5 more for sure for 2010. We could sign as many as 28, if 3 can count toward 09. I would like to have the remaining top 2 OL, Lache, Jeffcoat, the 2 top LB's and the two WR's with the last name White. At least.

I wonder who will get the 2 walk-on schollies?

4 over the limit if nobody else leaves and all 20 sign in February. There are a couple of guys I could see leaving to NFL early. And you never know about injuries.

Can't see him taking many more this year though.
