We all know the idea behind it - let's try to nail down a date. Suggestions as to when the majority of y'all can make it? 2 Saturdays after Memorial weekend?

Well I'd like to go but the wife showed little interest and I'd rather not go alone. If any of my real life hf friends would want to drive out there then I'm game.

If you are talking about June 9, we're a maybe depending on whether Texas is in the SuperRegionals. Likewise the next two weekends after that would depend on whether Texas is in Omaha.

So then we're competing against the 4th of July weekend... starting to get beyond hot & into pain in the *** Texas heat?

Don't plan it around us. June is always a wierd month for us because of baseball. July and August aren't much better this summer. I just didn't want you to think that we weren't interested.

No, LHG - I meant baseball is going to be a hitch for a lot of folks & the 'dead season' is freakin' hot. We don't have a pool.

Well, the solution is obvious. Put in a pool.

I know you don't want to wait, but it might be best to hold off for a travel football weekend. Can we bring bigscreens and get reception for most games?

There's a sattelite connection in a room just off the driveway and we can easily add a bit of extra cable to set up in the garage whatever jumbo screen anyone wants to bring.

BTW, we have new chickens and Guinea hens out there (babies right now) so it should be fun for little kids... I know my daughter loves to try and fiddle around with them.

a friend of mine rented a screen and a projector for the delahoya/maywether fight and put it outside by the pool, and it was badass. $65. would be a good idea if you do it on a game day.
