Smallville: Doomsday is coming!

As a fan of the Doomsday story-line this doesn't make a lot of sense? Clark's not even Superman yet. November sweeps I guess.

A prior episode had slightly retold Doomsday's creators being Zod and his wife. the wife made an apperance and stated to Doomsday's human form that he was not ready or fully developed yet.

It's likely that Clark fights a weaker version of Doomsday and the battle conclusion leaves the door open for a return of a stronger Doomsday, since he adapts and grows stronger. This would be appropriate for a fully trained Superman to take him on in the future.

This has been the most interesting season to date, maybe just because I'm kinda tired of the "I just want to be a normal person" angst, and I'm ready to see him take the next step, and you can finally start to see that metamorphosis. Always been a Superman fan, and I hope they keep the show going even after they actually give him the suit.

My only issue is that the way they've approached the story so far, I really don't see how he's ever going to be able to be Superman and not be recognized. In the traditional version, obviously there was at least some sort of difference (glasses, hair style, slumped posture, etc...), but not sure how they're going to handle it as is.

the only time I didn't really follow this show was during the Indian caves year. Dumb
Pretty good since then.
Anyway, looking forward to next week. Although I think they could have done a better job of picking Doomsday's human form. Davis is a butt-chinned pooozee.

Holy ****! I thought I was alone in my geekdom for watching all things Superman, no matter how lame!

Lots of inconsistencies, but whatever, Lois is hot, and it's still Superman. Hope there's some sort of spin-off in the works, because this is the last season.

I never watch Smallville but I will definitely watch this one. I had the whole comic book series of Doomsday and Superman's return. Loved it. I'm glad the Doomsday from what I saw sort of resembles the comic.

This kinda describes the seasons

Season 3: All over the place, very little for the actual Superman arc. It moreso defines eventual character conflict and development, such as the Lex-Clark relationship.

Season 4: This season has to do with the quest for Clark's crystal. This season also has this mysterious story arc for Lana and some witch that possesses her body. Key moments are Clark flying (as Kal-El) in the premier episode and the introduction of Lois Lane. Other important moments are the apperance of the Flash and the transformation of Lionel Luther

Season 5: Key story arc in this season brings about Brainiac and his plot to release General Zod, as well as a relationship of clark and lana. other moments include a major death and the appearance of Aquaman and Cyborg

Season 6: Major arcs here include Clark dealing with phantom's he's released from the Phantom zone and the formation of the Justice League, introducing the Green Arrow character. Clark begins to mature and take responsibility and action. Introducing Jimmy Olsen and also twists in Lex/Lana relationship

Season 7: Introducing Bizzaro and the Black Canary. Lana/Clark relationship. Lex's decent into evil and the Veritas story arc. Big season for Lex Luthor

Here are some key episodes to catch, if you want to bypass those seasons ... at least watch these episodes.

3: Exile, Phoenix, Legacy, Covenant
4: Crusade, Run, Transference, Spell, Bound, Onyx, Commencement
5: Arrival, Hidden, Aqua, Reckoning, Vengeance, Cyborg, Oracle, Vessel
6: Zod, Arrow, Fallout, Hydro, Justice, Promise, Nemesis, Prototype, Phantom
7: Bizzaro, Kara, Lara, Blue, Siren, Fracture, Veritas, Descent, Apocolype, Quest, Arctic.
8: Everything

there's some speculation of a 9th season, but I think they need to wrap it up this year. it's been moving in that path

I liked the episode for a while, a few years ago, then grew tired of chiseled jaws on characters that looked like they just finished a Latte at a cafe in Santa Monica... and Lex Luther WEARS on me something else.

Well that was underwhelming. Lots of syrupy stuff and then 30 seconds of Doomsday.

Hey, guess what happened? Even in his own ******* barn Clark got incapacitated by kryptonite, yet again.

I could have used more Doomsday, but it was a good episode.

Chloe was reinfected by Brainiac there at the end. Doomsday brought her to the Fortress which was taken over by Brainiac.
