when dj shoots fade aways or runners he hits a much higher percentage compared to aj. dj was 13-24 and hit a number of tough shots. abrams hit only 5-17 but he did make a couple clutch ones down the stretch

Both take a lot of off balance, ugly shots. Sometimes they fall, sometimes they don't. Both are shooting 44% from the field (coming into today's game) and Abrams has a slightly better 3 point percentage. Your assertion that DJ takes many more shots than AJ is wrong. He had taken only 12 more shots on the year than AJ coming into the game today. The most telling stat b/n the two is that DJ has 166 assists, to AJ's 41.

I don't consider either player selfish. Both know their role very well. Barnes apparently has given AJ the green light to shoot whenever he wants, so he does. Likewise, he's given DJ the green light to take the game over, so he does. When their on, there isn't a better combo of guards out there. Like I said, the main difference b/n the two is that when their shots aren't falling, DJ has the ability to impact the game by distributing it around via assists, while AJ generally doesn't.

bottom line, throughout the game, even with down by 13 we didnt go inside on a team that canNOT stop us inside. this was a coaching mistake.
We made a great comeback but the FT #s were too far in their favor. And guess what, they made their FTs. Wish we could say the same for the year. May end up being a costly loss if we dont get the Houston regional. 2 more tough games left.

DJ shoots 13 of 24

AJ shoots 5 of 17

"I assure you that he does not shoot better than A.J."

"He takes many more shots than A.J. and most of them are running, fading and falling out of bounds"

Coming into todays game DJ had taken a whopping 28 more shots than AJ (400 to 372). That's an astonishing 1 per game. Clearly DJ shoots much more than AJ.

If you are going to make a point I suggest you have some data that actually backs you up
