Slipstream

I can't remember if I ever dropped acid, but if I did it was probably a lot like this movie.

Has anyone here seen this all the way through? If so, is it intended to be a satire on films like Vanilla Sky, Mulholland Drive, etc, or is it simply about an old fart's journey into dementia? Perhaps there is some deeper meaning that eludes me, or am I making more of it than it really is?

Satire? Slipstream?

I don't know how you can find satire in a movie about Mark Hamill chasing after Bill Paxton and an android Christ figure who gets tied to a kite and offered as a sacrifice to the mighty Slipstream, who is worshipped in the post-apocolyptic future.

Serious business.
