Slingbox SlingLink TURBO

Received a Slingbox for Christmas. Since my tv and internet modem/router are in separate rooms, I went scouting for how to make this work. Apparent solution is another box called the SlingLink TURBO.

Anyone familiar with this? Is there any effect on the performance of the Slingbox? Pros/Cons? Since it will require about a $100 including adding a 2nd additional box, want to see if this is worth doing or having the "gift-giver" get a refund on the Slingbox and start over.

I used to use the Slinglink Turbo, not sure but you might be able to find a bridge for cheaper that isn't specifically for the Slingbox. If you have a fast home network it shouldn't cause a noticeable difference in whether you have it bridged or connected directly into your router.

I have a Turbo and it works great. You can order it online much cheaper then going to Best Buy.
