I KNEW the Horns would have problems tonight with those burnt orange and gray (?) uniforms. Seems our baseball team has an identity crisis (I know the gray thing isn't new .... I just forget how bad it looks). BRING BACK THE BURNT ORANGE & WHITE!!!

I love the gray vests. We've done this for years and years and years. They're my favorite Texas baseball uniform.

I have three game-worn Longhorn jerseys. Two are white and one is gray. When I die, my dear Shadowdancer has instructions to bury me in one of them.

The only question is: should it be white, because I willl be going to my "eternal home," or should it be gray because I will be going on an amazing journey.

Home white or traveling gray? A question that plagued baseball fans for generations...

When Texas went from Reebok to Nike they sold all their old jerseys. So I have Ryan Hubele's jersey. The one he wore when he hit the homerun at Bricktown that went into the 4th level of the parking garage in left field. Good times.

Oh, and the jersey is gray.

THAT IS FREAKING GREATNESS

I just looked at an Arizona State board. Their fans are practically jumping off cliffs. Several have said they have no chance at winning the CWS. Some have called their program "pretenders." One said he is "sick" of following ASU baseball. One commented on how the highlights of their '81 CWS championship are getting older and dimmer.

We're complaining about the fact our team had to wear gray tonight.

Life is good.

I love the gray hats. Thought I have to say I loved watching Huston wear the gray hat with a burnt orange jersey pitching us to a championship in 2002 and Maroul mesmerizing the crowd, journalists, and opponents in the burnt orange in 2005.

Great game tonight, can't wait til Friday! Hook 'Em!

Gotta cut the OP some slack. If all of your baseball exposure is watching the Horns at DFF, you almost never see the road greys.

Road Gray, all the way.

Hmmm, probably because so much of our "return to Longhorn Baseball" involved roadies to Omaha and Big 12 N away games in Lincoln, Lawrence, Manhattan, Columbia & Stillwater.

To be fair, I like our kids in whatever uni they step off the bus wearing.
