Simms Would Have Landed Scott

Wondered how long it would take before that was posted.
On almost the same subject, I guess Mack's reasoning was to give Major more position experience before he takes over as Offensive Coordinator when the old one retires. Then we can hire a new hot young RB coach when that happens next year, I can wish can't I ?

Vince would've levitated him and then landed him.

Hookem: I hate the negative stuff that comes from the Simms-Applewhite deal, but I laughed at your post. Funny justifies just about anything.

On one hand, this stuff is getting beyond old. On the other hand, this was pretty damn funny.

I'm torn, but I'm leaning towards the funny.

HornsN04,

and we all cried again when we watched replays of the OU and Colorado games when Simms played.

This is why I love my University. The ability to make fun of ourselves, each other and everyone not only without fear of reprisal, but to be praised for the level of smartassitude and creativity each dig can deliver.

Our strategy should have been for Simms to recruit Scott for 3/4ths of the offseason and then brough Major in for the last 1/4th. That seems to work pretty well in California

Not quite. Chris would have thrown three interceptions and then fumbled the ball to CU. And Major, for all of his superior talents, would have been put in the recruiting game just a bit too late to win the day.
