Serious question...how is Phil #2? Is it the wins? What does he endorse? I never see him on anything. Not hatin', just wondering.

$9,372,685 Salary / Winnings
$53,000,000 Endorsments

$62,372,685 Total

The two-time Masters champion and serial endorser has lent his name to everything from Ford to Rolex to Callaway golf clubs, and his earnings from such deals far outpace what he's made winning at golf.

I know Lefty does at least Ford & Rolex...but Man Ram? What on earth does Man Ram endorse? How do they get him to pay attention long enough to do a photo/video shoot? Or maybe it's Oakley/iTunes or something like that.

Wow, I didn't expect Durant to be THAT high on the list...good to see him using his talents off the court as well. That jersey ripping commercial he does is awesome.

Kimi Raikonnen (in the international 20) is just his salary it looks like.. I know he was paid 40 million last year, and I can only imagine that the world drivers championship got him a big boost.

Lewis Hamiltons new contract is gigantic, he should jump up huge on next years list.

That list is a good example of how much basketball players make compared to other sports. There are b-ball players all over it. An NBA player can be a career back up and sign a contract to be a back up making $5 million/yr. That's about as much as an All-Pro NFL safety.

Golfers get paid. Finishing first in the Colonial got Mickleson $1 million and that's not a Major. TPC Sawgrass was $1.7 for Sergio. That's not even counting all the endorsements.

Hell, Jim Furyk made this list at #49 and he's a mid tier golfer.

What blows my mind about Tiger is that he will make crazy jack for decades. Michael Jordan made over $35 million last year in endorsements and he has been retired for 4 years.

Tiger has that kind of lasting image, so he will be 60 and still bringing in $30-40 mil. WOW.

WTG KD!!! Glad to see him doing so well.

Phil added Crown Plaza Hotels as a sponsor.

And fuckin' a for Durant.

JaMarcus Russell? Damn. At least Durant earned his rookie money and endorsements.

Also, the thing about big name golfers is they're not getting into course design. That's yet another endorsement opportunity.

The previous poster was right about their career arc, too. They can be a pro for decades.

Good gosh! Alex Rodriguez & Derek Jeter make a combined $51 million a year in salary. I bet there are MLB teams with better records than the Yankees' whose entire payroll doesn't exceed $50 million.
