SI.com Mock NBA Draft

I will refrain from comment except to say that I really hope this is not where these guys actually wind up going in the draft.

If this wasn't a really weak draft, neither one would be a first rounder - they're both two or three years away from being a real NBA player - and should have stayed in school, but I understand wanting to make the big bucks now.

Hamilton had done in college what needed to be done. His stock wasn't going to go a lot higher. TT could have gone much higher if he had of stayed 1-2 more years and improved his game. He'll have to go D league to see any playing time.

i'm going to say TT will find playing time in the NBA (if there's a season) next year without having to go to the D-league. Shot-blockers and rebounders with a decent post-op game are not that easy to find. Plus, he was measured at 6' 9" in socks, so it's not like he lacks size as some may have suspected.

He could have improved is stock to a definite lottery pick, but he'll still go first round--and that may be enough for him. I enjoyed watching him play in the burnt orange.

They're both almost assured first round NBA money. How much do you really think their draft status would improve? Besides, about the time those rookie contracts run out they will have either grown up or gone bust anyway.

That's a hell of a lot better shot than 99% get.

He prob got some good advice too.
He just chose poorly.

In my opinion Joseph is better than Bradley was at the end of their frosh years.. so if Avery is getting even minimal time playing for the C's then Joseph should get some playing time somewhere.

Being a long-time Pacer fan, I have to say that I'd be ecstatic to see Tristan Thompson win up here in town playing for the Pacers. The Pacers need an eventual replacement for Jeff Foster (former Southwest Texas State player). And while I once thought Thompson was small,I saw him absolutely cap the Oakland University center Keith Benson multiple times in the NCAA first round game. I think Thompson has along NBA career ahead him, Pacers or not......... Pacers like Jimmer too.....
