2. 15% Corporate tax rate. Many Republicans oppose it without corresponding increases in revenue. Democrats oppose it just because.

I don't see any way the Dems. With Trump's approval ratings sitting at ~40% they have nothing to lose by holding out. Trump will take the fall in any government shut down.

It's more likely that Trump finds another way to pay for the wall.

The only way I see Trump escaping the trap he set for himself is to launch a war (Korea?) and them demand Congress pass his budget for national security reasons. Get ready. Next week the bombs fall.

Too obvious if he attempts that. I don't see that happening. More than likely he backs down on the border wall and in exchange the Democrats get on board neutering the power of the Freedom Caucus.
