One of my many dreams is to buy a shuffleboard table and put it in my house. I have even measured to make sure I could fit it. I would put a hole in the wall which partly divides the living room and the middle room, it would work. If I had one of those, a GT machine, a pinball machine and a ping-pong table, oh man.
Will, I love shuffleboard...let me know if ever you need a 4th man to even teams out. I live real close to downtown and campus and would love to play anytime I can.
Just FYI - the table at Dave and Buster's SUCKS BALLS. There is no concave shape at all - it's totally level. For $8 and hour, you can do better, and not even have to drive all that far. The best table I've found is at the Anderson Mill Tavern, on Anderson Mill Road, northwest Austin. They've also got one of the nicest non-Buffalo Billiards foosball tables I've seen. And two GT machines.
I am going to be moving into a new apartment complex here in Atlanta pretty soon, and they have a shuffleboard along with the billiards table... I can't believe it!!!
I like the one at Lavaca Street Bar. Watch the man with the white mullet, though. He takes his bar shuffleboard way too seriously and will try to teach you the nuances.
