In his induction speech at the NFL HOF, Jim Covert gave a shout out to Steve McMichael, saying going against Steve and two other in practice everyday is what made him great. Furthermore, he had a word of encouragement for Steve and then said, "Steve McMichael belongs in the NFL Hall Of Fame".
