Shopping question

Does anybody know where I can find some of those granite/concrete stars used for decorations? They are about 3-4 inches deep and about 6-8 inches tall. My parents saw some at an open house this last weekend, and they were curious about where they could find some.
I have seen some houses that have them on their mantle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

can't tell you where, but i would imagine lowes, walmart, home depot, garden ridge. places like that of the sort.

You may have found them at this point...but you can also find ads in the Alcalde about that stuff. There's also the Texas stores in the mall, a store called Back Home (off Bee Caves close to 71 and in the shopping center w/ Westgate Cinemas). You may also want to try the co-op and maybe Breed and Company. This doesn't help for this time of year, but the Christmas Affair usually has some booths that have that sort of thing too.

I still haven't found them, but all of these tips have been helpful. I will check out the next issue of the Alcalde as well as past issues.

Guitars & Cadillacs has some made out of limestone. You might try checing their website to see if they have what you're looking for. Sometimes the store has a different selection though.
