Anyone done the tour? Thinking about going down there in about a month, but I'm curious as to the tour length, amount of beer you get to sample, etc.

i did it my senior year of college. i dont remember how long the tour was but i'm pretty sure it was less than an hour. the whole operation is not all that big. at the end they have a cool bar room where they pass out these wooden tokens you redeem for beer. i think you get to try like 3 but they're not full pints. they also have a cool little gift shop and will direct you to some mom and pop store in town that sells 12 packs for like $8.

Like he said, the tour is under an hour and the free beer is small in quantity.

So do this.... Wait until a Saturday that's clear and sunny, drive over there, do the tour and then drive back up the hill to the little restaurant just up the way (the name escapes me). They have ICE cold beer and great burgers.

Just checked out the website, and tours are only available Monday thru Friday, unless you have a group of 20 or more.
