Sherrod Harris Should Starts

Don't know about starts, but he's got something.

Sherrod Harris should starts getting more of a chance to compete based on the 6 or so snaps he took. But then again GJ Kinne had the longest pass of the game, so as long as we are making sensationalist exclamations, lets make him our starter! Harris did look solid at the scrimmage, I wish we could have seen more than a drive against our third string defense out of him. It would be a real shame if all the rumors were true and he was considering a school change.
 
Sherrod and Kinne both looked very good. But weren't they going against the 3rd and 4th strings?

Still, Sherrod's arm looked a whole lot better than Chiles and Kinne has a gun.

But speaking of the starter, Colt, dude is looking even more solid than last year. He looks like he's very solid, especially in his neck.
 
Ok, I'm glad to see some of us are getting on board with this. Bear in mind that this is just a prototype (we don't want to give our entire playbook away). And also I can't take full credit for this because I know we had a football genius come up with something similar a while back. But I think he stole it from something Bill Walsh did back in 84.

Kinne's long pass play would have been a sack in a real game when he doesn't have a black jersey on.

Harris shouldn't start, but he should be the #2 QB and given many more snaps than he currently gets.
 
Techno Viking looks just like Ginger Baker. Seriously, every time I see Mr. Harris in game situations, he seems to light it up more than we hear about him doing in practice, at least we are set at QB next season. Just hope RB comes around to be a good factor also.
 
I recognized that play! It's the old self defeating blocking scheme that Davis uses just to equalize the talent level whenever we play D-1AA schools. I swear to God, the guy is a humanist masquerading as an OC.
