Shermanator pulling scholies

The kid was kicked off his football team, and looks like it was stemming from an assault charge he's facing. I like the move by Sherman.

Dang aggy pull the one scholi form the one kid with some fight in him... 4 more years of "Futbal" suffering and nut twisting for no advantage at ATM...
and...
it was so hopeful for a few weeks there..

can't really blame him on this one. Fields was charged with assault on the 16th. its not like Sherman is pulling a Gundy. That being said, I would think this would hurt considering Harris is looking hard at ou, trent hunter may not quality, and a&m hasnt had good DB recruiting over the past few years.

I thought Hudnall showed up, then transfered to TCU after not being looked at to play WR.

Chris Collins had his scholly pulled after the whole rape case appeared. Gundy gave him a second chance until he was formally charged or convicted during midseason this year.

Hudnall transfered to TCU on his own. Collins was in jail at the time of the signing date, so therefore, he did not sign. Mack does not believe in schollie pulling, sometimes this results in a below average player being signed, but that is his belief, to go get them early and stay with them.

Mack pulled Collins ship well before signing date.

I don't recall the circumstances around Brandon Duncan, but I think he signed but never enrolled. I'm sure someone can fill me in on what happened there.

Being from Paris, and with a nephew who was a senior on the PHS football team this year I have some information on this. I don't know about the ship being pulled, but of the two schollies offered by the aggies to Paris kids, one was kicked off the team at mid season, and the other had lost his starting job by end of year.

The coach tried to hide the details to keep them from losing the offers. Also, there was team dissention over Good, he was named all district after only playing the last couple of games, and the team did not feel he was even their best lineman. The coach was very protective of his players getting D1 offers.

Michael Brown and Bobby Janish 2009 OL's have recently decommitted as well. Both reportedly had their ships pulled for "re-evaluation". No off- field problems.

Thats different, those guys have a year before signing day.

Janisch may get re-offered.
