Shepard to WR per LSU fans

ok .. at least that's what some are already saying. with jarrett lee and jordan jefferson, the tiger's depth chart really isn't as thin as i'm sure LSU is selling it. RP for 1 or 2 years, Lee for 1 or 2 years, Jefferson for 1 or 2 years. i really hope Shepard is getting a fair shake from Les Miles, and not just getting his recruit talk sell.

Personally, I'm hoping that after thinking it over, Shepard will realize that with Mack, he knows where he'll be playing. With Miles, there may be some doubt. If he was told he'll play QB, maybe he'll realize that it may not happen given the depth chart situation. With Miles I don't know how upfront he is to recruits. I'm not trying to rip Miles, I don't know the man. However, I do know that Mack Brown is as honest as they come and there's no room for lingering doubts if you commit the Horns. Besides, after what happened with Perriloux, it would be some serious poetic justice if Shepard changed his mind and committed to us.

I'm going to give Shepard credit for being smart enough to evaluate who is telling him the truth and who isn't. Once he realizes his chance of playing in the NFL will be enhanced by moving to WR, it would not surprise me if he pursues his dream of playing on the Forty Acres.

if he thinks he is a qb, he can always transfer away from lsu in the event that they try to move him. highly touted qbs transfer routinely now instead of sitting for a couple of years.

LSU and Les Miles is recruiting Shepard at QB, Not at WR.

A number of LSU have seen his tape and some think he is better at WR but most think RB.

Crowton and Miles, like I see him as a QB.
