Shaving cream and aftershave/toner

I have pretty sensitive skin, but I would recommend Edge Pro Gel for shaving. I use the sensitive skin or nicks/cuts protection one, but they make 4 or 5 different kinds. As far as aftershave, I can't use that b/c my face will break out, so I just use fragrance free aloe. But, I would say try the Nivea aftershave. I have lots of buddies that use it and like it.

Go to GNC or Central Market and get "Kiss My Face" shaving lotion.

Expensive, but far better than anything I've used.

I have a really thick beard, and get bad shaving burn & chafing if I use anything else.

I have pretty sensitive skin, so I find brands such as Kiehl's, L'Occitane, Clinique much better than anything you get at a grocery store.
For aftershave, I used Clinque post shave healer and Tend Skin.

kiss my face lime, no after shave, shave in shower. My sideburns aren't always even, but a razor will last me MONTHS.

Kiehl's Shave Cream (in the screw-top container) is probably the best, and most comforatble, that I have used.

If you don't feel like dropping the money on that (about $15 for a container that will last you months) then I would recommend the Neutrogena shaving gel in the can (about $5 for an Edge-sized can).

Echoing Captain Ed, Kiehl's is without a doubt the best. Neutrogena in a can is what I use everyday...if you're near a Nordstrom's Rack, they usually have it cheap.

I don't understand? I've been using Colgate $.97 shaving cream and Good News razors for the past 25 years with no razor burns or nics. No aftershave lotion. What am I missing?

Water before , bic with the sensitive skin strip, with water during, , water after, then shower. Works great.

Use Olay Complete-It's an all day moisture lotion with SPF 15. Works for me.

Ditto what Captain Ed & MulletsGalore said, Kiehls or Zirh shave gel and moisterizer are the best. King of Shaves is pretty good.

I use an aftershave balm made by Korres (the Marigold version). My wife bought a bottle for me in Portland and when it ran out, I was able to order it online. They've got a websiteThe Link but I don't think I was able to order it there. I've been told there's a men's shop in West Village in Uptown Dallas that only has men's shaving and other grooming products. They supposedly have it but I don't know for certain.

(Oh, and Kiehl's rocks for almost everything else.)

Try shaving in the shower after you have bathed. Go buy a shower mirror and you will never go back to shaving over a sink again.
