This reminds me I need to keep an open mind -- on Rick Perry. I've known a few Muslims and all in my circle were really great people. Perry appears to be taking political risk on the side of opening people's eyes to broader cultural education and religious tolerance.

I also count it to Gov. Perry's credit that while he has been victim to many violating commandment 9 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.' so far I can see no evidence that he has responded in like manner. (I've heard nasty rumors about Perry's personal life, but never from anyone truly in a position to know. If you repeat something without knowing for sure, you are violating Commandment 9)
