Sergio Kindle: Starter (Yes!)

According to an article in the AAS, Sergio Kindle will be our starting strongside linebacker. Rodderick Muckelroy will be the starting weakside linebacker. Babino and Norton will both get a lot of playing time at middle linebacker.

So in our base defense, Sergio will not be on the field. But having him on the field at least in the 4-3 is progress.

Where has it been said that we would start a 425? Obviously we will play that more with the pass happy teams. In those situations, we would see Kindle as a DE, so it wouldn't matter.

Ghoward, obviously what we start in depends on the personnel that FAU runs out on he first play. A "base" set, IMO, means what we will run the majority of the time.

IMO, Kindle won't be on the field for >50% of the snaps at DE in that 4-2-5 set.
