I'm glad to hear that his passion for the game remains so high. If he can channel his energy and physical abilities onto the point of contact, he can be one of the most lethal football players to ever wear the burnt orange and white. Here's to hoping he stays healthy and maintains that positive attitue all season.

I was just watching his 2007 highlights on MBTF and he totally blew up a Nebraska lineman on one play. I can't wait to see a healthy Sergio.

He was being interviewed. Most of what he talked about pertained to recovering from an injury.

Everyone in the Horn Nation is also VERY hungry for a Sergio breakout season. He could be an absolute beast. The kid has all the physical tools to be one of the best ever at UT, but plagued with injuries, distracted with off the field issues (DUI) and perhaps some (IMO) unspoken "head" issues have kept him from reaching his full potential.

You need to read the Frisbee quote twice and realize Sergio still has a ways to go post injury - Ketchum said he was 100% about 30 days ago - I suspect he is not 100% despite what has been said publically, but I could be wrong. He is probably ~ 90% ~ or something, but perhaps moving toward 100%. Regardless, once fully healed, football conditioned and focused by Muschamp & the Coaches, I truly believe the sky is the limit for Sergio Kindle.

He will destroy. I cannot wait for this season, it's almost painful at this point to read about football because I am so ready for it to begin....But I manage

Actions speak louder than words, but that's the kind of talk I like to hear! If he can just stay healthy, then I hope to see that! Lay 'em all out Kindle!!! BOOM!!!!

It is just nice to see that we are not only incredibly talented at LB, we are deep. Even if Kindle is not 100% by the time the season starts, we wont have a ton of drop off when he isnt receiving snaps.

Our OOC schedule sets up nicely for him to get some quality snaps while not having to take a full burden. Those games aren't gimme's, but the defense could dominate Rice and Arkansas.

By the Colorado game, he should be fully healthy (D. Scott should be a nice target) and come the OU game, I look for him to make some folks pay.

I hope he's right, but he has to win the starting job first, right? That's my understanding from the practice reports last week...

I agree Goosehorn. Depth and experience are the best things this unit has going for them right now. Sergio is coming along just a little slow for obvious reasons. HIs backup will be getting a ton of reps and will play alot during the course of the season. I think they rotate quite a bit with this unit.

I hope to see Norton on the field a bit and am interested to see what new DC does with Bobino.

If he is only at 90%, which would be my guess, I don't think he starts in the season opener. I bet we see Sergio come in an get about half the snaps on D in the first two games. Other than that I bet he has some highlight reel hits this season. Boom is going to move so many people in and out and blitz in so many ways, Sergio will get some big hits. By mid season I hope he is the starter, but it won't matter too much because Boom will probably rotate so many guys the top two will get pretty even time.

Being 100% healed and ready to go has nothing to do with his football legs. You can simulate the intensity he has to bring everyday in practice, and surely not what he will need in a game. It's the beginning of the season there are some people who haven't been hurt that need to gather their game legs.

Make it happen Sergio! Make it a beeline to the qb on EVERY play.

The only QB I don't want you to get is Colt....etc.

I'm hearing & reading great things about Kindle's workouts so far. Most of it says he'll be 100% and starting at OLB on Aug. 30.
