COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M fans are encouraged to attend the NCAA Women's Selection Show party with Coach Gary Blair and the Aggie women's basketball squad on Monday, March 16 at the women's practice gym inside the Cox-McFerrin Basketball Center For Aggie Basketball.

The ESPN selection show begins at 6 p.m. (CT) and doors to the Cox-McFerrin Center will open at 5:15 p.m. For the 17th consecutive year, ESPN will present the exclusive, live announcement of the women's 64-team field. In addition, ESPNU and ESPN360.com will simulcast the show. Trey Wingo will host alongside Kara Lawson and first-year Selection Special analyst Carolyn Peck. The one-hour show will tip-off ESPN's robust coverage of the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship from March 21 - April 7 on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN360.com and ESPN FULL COURT.

Fans are encouraged to park in Lot-100 F & G at Reed Arena. Finger foods and drinks will be available courtesy of Buppy's Catering.

The Aggie women will face Baylor in the Big 12 women's championship game on Sunday, March 15 at 12:30 p.m. (CT) in Oklahoma City before returning to Aggieland.

And Texas does nothing to bring fans and players together. As usual.

meh, nothing else to do in CS. Seems like those are the type of places that hold these events along with the mid-majors popping the NCAA cherry.

aggy is a Women's athletic school now, cold hard fact. There is nothing wrong with Women's athletics either. But that is who and what they are now. Without 'em they are nothing, nada.

I do wish we had at least an attempt to get something going for this but we don't have the same desperate reliance on it like they do.

we play ms state in berkley region!!

wonder how Baylor's watch party is going after finding out they got a 2 seed?? they are in a tough part of the bracket with 1 seed Maryland and 3 seed Louisville.

I like this bracket. And not getting ahead of myself, I am with Babhorn: A TN rematch would be fantastic. One game at a time - and

3 wins - the PAC 10 does not really play defense - Stanford scares me less than any other two seed and Ohio State - a 2 person team - PG Prahalis and C Lavender- and let's hope for GG's sake, either ISU or TN takes care of Duke. One game at a time and double

I like this! Of course horns have to play ball for 40 mins each game. Can't wait to get started!!!

I was confused why Maryland and Louisville got the #1 and #3 seeds in the Raleigh regional. Why wouldn't the committee send North Carolina or Duke there to generate ticket sales? The women's side does not have the rule about hometown hosting do they? That seemed bizarre.

Also thought it was interesting OU's #1 seed includes a trip to Iowa City and Baylor got sent to Lubbock where there is no home team. Good to see a reward for winning the conference tournament.

OSU in Columbus won't be a picnic - if we beat Mississippi State, but this is a better road team than in the past. We beat ISU in Ames and Baylor in Waco, and OSU in Stillwater and then lost to the second 2 at home. I think in the weirdness that is TX 2008-9, we play better in hostile environments. one game at a time and all 40 minutes

Not a regional, but 2 seed Auburn may have to play 7 seed Rutgers in Piscataway in the second round.

Well, I will be happy with a win over MS St. for now and if we do win that one and play against OSU, I think that is a winnable game. Certainly beats playing UCONN in the second round.
