Electric Atmosphere last night! It felt like an EPL or World Cup game.

I didn't see it live, but they showed it late night in Argentina. There are some posts on Big Soccer from people who went and it reminded me of posts from Hornfans who get home after crazy games.

The Seattle uniforms look like something out of the SPY KIDS movies. But apparently the crowd was into it. In part because they're new. In part as a big F.U.! to the guy who stole the Sonics. It will be nice if they can continue to play well, but...

...that playing surface looked like Field Turf. I play on that stuff every Tuesday night in a 6 on 6 game on a field the size of a tennis court (including surrounding area). I don't think professional soccer should be played on that stuff.

NY Red Bulls looked like RAT ****! And Petke just started writing a column for ESPN's Soccernet page. His next entry should be interesting. He was treated like a 2-bit *****. It was ugly.l

I hope this is the start of another great season. Last year's season saw nearly everyone in the playoff hunt until the last few weeks and the best soccer the MLS has ever produced.
