T TaylorTRoom 1,000+ Posts Jul 14, 2009 #4 Fremont is a cool, funky area. There is a troll under the Hwy 99 bridge you have to see, plus an imported statue of Lenin in front of a taco shop. Snoqualmie Falls is a neat place not too far away. I always enjoyed the Underground Seattle tour in Pioneer Square. They have Lake Washington and Locks boat tours that are fun.

Amazingly, other visitors have asked similar questions on this same board and gotten some stellar advice on the things to do.
