'Search42' Computer hijack

I have a freaking gremlin somewhere. Search42.com pops up every search and damn near every page view.

I have tried my spyware ad nauseum.
I have tried searching, finding and deleting through my windows search.
I have removed cookies.
I have removed a txt file with search42 on it

I'm getting real tired of this **** and I want to go murder someone. Obviously their website offers nothing.

Any advice????
