Seafood in Galveston

I would call it business casual, but they won't kick you out if you have shorts on.

Jeans and a semi decent shirt worked for me... And a lot less would of worked too. It is a "beach" town after all.

We were there two weeks ago. Gaido's was very good; try the complete meal for soup, salad, entree, bread, and dessert. The Admiral's portion was plenty for us. Slacks or nice shorts and sport shirts seemed to be the dress of the day. Went at lunch when it opened so got a table without a wait.

Casey's is next door and a sister establishment of Gaido's, but much more casual atmosphere. Lots of kids and families and associated noise, but the food was excellent and seemed to be about $5 - $6 per plate less than Gaido's. Made the mistake of waiting until 7:30 on a Saturday night, which made for a 45 minute wait. At that same time, Gaido's had over an hour wait.
