I'm confused I guess... I thought that this year the scrimmage would be in the bubble but NOT open to the public.. But News 36 just said the Sat scrimmage is open to the public.
From everything on the website it looks like it is NOT open to the public. The same thing happened last year, except that was bc of weather. I guess they liked how it turned out.
No, there is no game for you to watch that day. All you can do is stand in line and get sig's and stuff. No scrimmage, no crunching of pads. That will happen but it is closed to the public.
I assume people won't be waiting very long for signatures that day compared to others when people have to make a choice of watching the scrimmage or standing in line.
Yea, they kind of tease us by saying there will be a scrimmage... but it is in the bubble and you can't see it. They should have just said there would be a morning practice, and it is closed to the public, just like all the others.
All information I have seen, issued by UT, since the day they announced the two open practices, also stated that 'Fan Appreciation Day' would follow a scrimmage, "not open to the public".
As is almost always the case, these days, the media has screwed up the truth.
I have the defibulator(SP) right here, just give me the international sign for hyperventalating or whatever is happening, I just want to use this thing!!!!!!!!!
It's been moved again... now it's in the parking lot of the 7-11 on MLK. Only Sherrod Harris will be signing autographs, and it's limited to the first 11 people that show up.
