Scrimmage games

I read this article from the AAS yesterday about the mens scrimmage game against Davidson.

Some interesting facts there that I wasn't aware of about Division I teams having scrimmages against each other instead of playing exhibition games against Division II or III teams.

I don't have hard facts but I "heard" that the women had a scrimmage against SMU last weekend too. Of course since the article about the men states that there can be no fans or media present, and no stats taken....who knows??? Just thought I'd pass it on and MAYBE that could be the reason for no exhibition games this year!!??? The men's schedule doesn't have any exhibition games listed either.

Yes, we did play SMU.....no details, but it was bodies other than "the usual suspects", which the team was thrilled about!
