Timmons soft verbal bothers me since he is the only WR on the list. I would like to get another good WR in case he changes his mind. Also another RB and two DTs (it would be great if one was McFarland). This is going to be an awesome class.

Emory Blake is waiting in the wings if something happens with Timmons. Blake is ranked right at the same level with Timmons and has an even more impressive offer list FWIW (maybe fewer offers for Timmons since he is a soft verbal already).

A couple of things:

I read in a newspaper article a couple of weeks ago that Emory Blake is the son of former Cincinnati QB Jeff Blake. That is the only place I have seen it mentioned. I was unaware of any connection between Jeff Blake and Austin.

Also, Pensacola FL. running back Trent Richardson, touted in some reports as the second coming of Emmett Smith, is not in the Scout 300. Is that an oversight, did I miss his name or is there some other explanation?

rankings change constantly, esp. since these kids haven't even made it to 12th grade yet. Still a long time for any kid to get on or get knocked off the radar.
