I posted a comment about Feldman on another thread but after hearing the Ticket talk about him this morning I thought he deserved his own thread. Just a phenomenal story that just hasn't received enough attention yet.
Just a few facts:
-30th round draft choice in 2003
-Never won more than 2 games in any season in the minors
-Only started a total of 6 games in parts of 6 seasons in the minors
-Didn't start his first game in the majors until last season and that was only due to other injuries in the rotation
-Started the year in the bullpen this year giving up 9 runs in 6.2 IP (12.15 ERA) until injuries pushed him back in the rotation
-Has given up 1 ER in his last 26.1 IP (0.34 ERA)
I think it's safe to say the Rangers don't have to try and figure out where he's most effective now.
This year's season splits:
Road:: 12-1, 2.58 ERA (90.2 IP), 25 BB, 62 K
Home: 4-3, 4.56 ERA (73 IP), 23 BB, 37 K
