Scientology Fun

I'll take a scientology joint over another baptist church in my neighborhood any day of the week and especially twice on Sunday.

Great !

Full-moon-batshit zombies determined to build a better narcissistic society... F*cking prima-donnas.

This has been up for 4 days. I'm surprised Tom hasn't personally shown up at YouTube with his lawyer to take the video off the internet.

I doubt the Baptist church in your neighborhood doesn't have secret information in it's organization that only high paying members get to see or know. Last time I checked, they don't sue people who publicly ridicule Christianity. But I guess if you want a lot less traffic flow in your neighborhood a Church of Scientology would be better.

And geez, that video is way too long.

You know the main difference between a Baptist/Lutheran/Catholic church in your neighborhood and a scientology bank is that you never see scientologist out doing good for the community. I've never seen a group of scientologist out delivering food/healthcare to poor, eldery, homeless people. I've never seen them collecting money to benefit underprivileged kids or doing anything other than trying to steal your money for the benefit of themselves. Sure, a church might clog some traffic up on Sundays but seriously, they help out a helluva lot more people than the bank of scientology ever will. Whether you believe in a high power or not, if you have any sense of decency or the slightest amount of moral compassion for fellow humans, churches will always be better for your community than will scientology banks.

yeah, and I've never seen a scientologist demand that their ******** be taught in public schools...or tried to have their ******** hung in the local courthouse, or tried to shut down a strip club, etc.

And what about that vast majority of US citizens who are not decendents of Mayflower Puritans?

Really, can you not live with the observation that Scientologists are less politically active than Christians, as a group? Or do you object to politics being regarded as ********?

"And what about that vast majority of US citizens who are not decendents of Mayflower Puritans?"

My folks are immigrants from Asia came to the US in the 70s and Texas in the 80s. Just because I or any of my family and most Texas families don't have any descendents from the Alamo doesn't mean long standing Texas institutions (e.g., football, food, and church) are no longer part of the social fabric of this state. No one in my family played football or ate barbecue or crawfish before they moved. But those things and the social aspects associated with them are now a part of us as it is with many immgrant families.

Being descended from the Pilgrims is irrelevant. Living in a country who's social foundation was laid by the Pilgrims (their legacy which as a resident of this country you are now a part of)...that's the important part.

Nailed it.

Someone is not sounding very tolerant of Christians or their beliefs.

Shame on you.

Lack of tolerance is the very worst thing you can ever be.

The funniest part is that the very same people who get on here and bash Christianity would be having kittens if the post had been, "I would much rather have the Church of Scientology than a mosque.".

Yeah. You know it's true.

Who in the world has tried to take Christianity out of Americal or Texas? There was simply an observation, vulgarly put, that Scientologists were less politically active that Christians. Is that observation a threat to all that is right for Christianity? Jesus H. Christ.

the thing i like about scientology is that you have to pay for the information. which means.....

i will never have to have some one try to convert me for free. they already gave me the questionaire and apparently, besides my grammar skills, i am much too intelligent to belong to their organization.

i wish my fellow christians would realize the same.

Look, for an outsider observer to both they most likely view Scientologist as crazy as Christians, Muslims, and Jews. But, the only difference between the two is that, one provides all the answers for free and only asks you to help out, the other makes you pay out the *** to get the secrets. Not to mention the fact that the founder of the bank of scientology is a science fiction writer who lived on a boat with child servants to avoid international persecution for his pedophile activities while he did about every drug known to man

I could probably lay some jokes down on this one but, as I am unfamiliar with how Temples work, I'll just ask to retract the Jews part of my previous statement.
