Just want to take a spot to say how wonderful is the field of science, and what a scourage and pox on mankind is politics. No way to ruin a day like thinking and talking about politics. And no better way to make a day than to marvel at the wonders of science, and life that surrounds us day by day.

Here's a fascinating page on the ESA site that shows the concept of how the module orbited for the past ten years in the planned path to eventually meet up with the Comet.

Wow...I didn't realize how long ESA waited for this comet landing. Truly impressive, especially when you consider the speed at that the comet was traveling.
