Scalping at Reliant?

I have heard that scalpers are having trouble with citations down at Reliant. I am still in the market for 4 tickets for tomorrow. Does anybody know of decent places to get scalped tickets? I had assumed it would be easy to stroll down there and get a few. Comments?

I picked up my tickets for Friday on the street at Kirby. i literally parked on the street in Kirby behind another guy who was buying tickets in front of me. This was at the hotel at Kirby and 610. I would suggest starting at Kirby and Old Spanish Trail and working your way south down Kirby. Make a quick drive through the area and see where everyone is before you start approaching people. I wouldn't park in a shopping center and walk because you will get towed. The tow trucks were out in force Friday looking for ticket buyers who weren't shopping and the scalpers were careful to stay in the public right of way and not get on private property. Wait as long as you can to buy tickets becuase the pruce goes down dramatically the longer you wait and these guys will negotiate their price.

I picked up my Sunday tickets in the arena right after the MSU-Memphis game. None of the cops there seemed to mind us conducting business right there in the arena. A lot of ther fans were doing the same thing.

Here's the link to the post on BurntOrangeNation that talks about people getting citations for selling tickets at Reliant (even for face and below face):

In Houston, its only against the law to scalp if you are on the property of the Stadium, or anywhere on the grounds of Reliant Center (entire complex.) Anywhere else is cool.

Obviously advertising that you have tickets for sale on the stadium lot will get you a ticket. I seriously doubt the MSU had several tickets in his pocket but wasn't holding them in the air, or something.

But the stadium should have signs posted at the car and pedestrian entrances that scalping is illegal. The laws are so different city to city that they should broadcast it.
